I waited a full 3 months for a Repair on my Nikon CoolPix 950 Camera.
This is yet another experience with a defective Nikon Coolpix Camera
4 out of 5 Cameras have needed "Out of Warranty Repair"
and of those 4 cameras 2 had to be returned
because the repair had not been made the first time.
The Camera that I have returned for a second repair this time
cost $770 and took about 1500 pictures before it died.
That figures out to more than 50 cents per picture
Contact with Customer Service was a long wait and there replies
were robotic in nature, telling the customer what they want to hear
which was far from the truth.
They put a protective shield around the people who really could help
if they really did care and wanted to help.
I asked "if I could have a camera to use if the wait for repair was going to be long".
NO, they couldn't do that, but yet they tell you that they understand and care !
How would you like to buy a new car and wait 3 months for it to be fixed
but have a car payment and be walking !
"We the People" by supporting "Big Business" have lost our ability
to protect our interests
when actions like this occur.

I finally now have received the camera
and it seems to be working the way that it is supposed too.
But 3 months is still too long to wait !
